Video Editor

We are looking for a creative and hands-on Video Editor to produce engaging short-form and long-form content across Instagram, YouTube and other digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong eye for storytelling, pacing and visual details, and enjoys turning raw footage into polished, scroll-stopping content. You will work closely with the Content team to bring creative ideas and concepts to life, from editing and motion graphics to sound design, subtitles and colour grading. You will also support video and photo shoots when required and stay on top of social media trends, formats and platform best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, YouTube and other social media platforms.
• Deliver quality edits with fast turnaround, particularly for trend-driven and time-sensitive content.
• Work with raw footage and creative briefs to produce polished, engaging and on-brand final cuts.
• Enhance videos through sound design, music, motion graphics, subtitles, colour correction and colour grading.
• Support video and photo shoots when required, including capturing secondary angles and supplementary footage.
• Collaborate with the Content team to develop creative ideas, concepts and video formats, rather than solely executing briefs.
• Adapt content and editing styles according to the requirements and audience behaviour of different social media platforms.
• Organise and maintain a structured library of raw footage, project files and brand assets.
• Stay updated on social media trends, emerging video formats, editing styles and platform best practices.
• Manage multiple editing projects and timelines while maintaining quality and consistency.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in video editing, preferably across both short-form social content and longer-form branded or campaign videos.
• Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating a range of video editing styles and formats.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and CapCut, or equivalent professional editing software.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, composition and visual flow.
• Good understanding of social media platforms and how video content should be adapted for different audiences and formats.
• Able to work independently, manage timelines and handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Creative and collaborative, with the ability to receive feedback and iterate quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency.
• Comfortable working with cats and dogs.

Added Advantage

• Experience in videography and photography, with the ability to independently capture usable footage when required.
• Experience in visual effects (VFX), motion graphics or animation.
• Familiarity with social media analytics and using content performance insights to improve future edits.
• Experience producing content for consumer, lifestyle, F&B or pet-related brands.
