Video Editing Intern (Media Production)

Internship / Part-time (3-6 months)

Ark Media Productions is a media and event production company specializing in live events, corporate shows, brand activations, and digital content creation. We are looking for a Video Editing Intern who is passionate about storytelling through visuals, proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and eager to work in a high-energy, fast-paced production environment.

This role is perfect for individuals looking to build their editing portfolio, gain hands-on industry experience, and contribute to real-world projects.

What You'll Learn

Who We're Looking For

  • Diploma students or recent graduates in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related disciplines

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

  • Familiarity with motion graphics (bonus)

  • A strong eye for composition, color correction, and pacing in video editing

  • Able to work independently with clear instructions and deliver results under tight deadlines

  • Reliable & accountable - punctuality and good communication are key

You'll be part of an agile creative team working on real projects under real deadlines. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Edit video content for various platforms, including social media, promotional videos, event highlights, and internal projects

  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that video content meets client requirements and brand guidelines

  • Assist in motion graphics creation and basic VFX (if familiar with After Effects)

  • Help with video upload and content management for various platforms

  • Ensure that video assets are properly archived and organized

  • Occasionally assist with behind-the-scenes filming for event shoots or content production

Internship Details

  • Allowance: SGD 600/month
    (Equivalent to approximately SGD 12-15/hour, depending on hours worked)

  • Work schedule:

    • 5.5-day work week

    • 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

    • Additional hours may be required during event periods

    • Off days or rest time will be compensated when longer hours are worked

  • Duration: 3-6 months

  • Work location: In person (office, venues, and event sites)

Who Can Apply

  • Diploma students or recent graduates in Film Production, Media, Communications, or related fields

  • Prior experience with video editing is preferred (portfolio a plus)

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)

  • Experience with motion graphics (After Effects, Illustrator) is a bonus
