Job Title: Vice President / Real Estate Coordination

Summary

Asia CIB Business Support Management (BSM) serves as a partner to CIB Lines of Business in Asia Pacific, working closely with respective business managers, senior management and all related support groups (Finance, Legal, Compliance, Real Estate, Technology, Control Management and Human Resource).

The mandate for the Asia CIB BSM team has continued to grow as the business strategy in the region develops. BSM currently has a presence in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Australia, China, India and Philippines.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Real estate governance & process improvement: Revamp regional and global governance, processes, and partnerships to strengthen oversight, collaboration, and operational efficiency.

  • APAC real estate strategy & execution: Lead delivery of major APAC real estate strategies, aligning seat plans to the onshore/offshore/hybrid workforce mix and evolving business needs.

  • Coverage & stakeholder representation: Complete and enhance CIB APAC coverage, representing CIB in firmwide and regional real estate strategy reviews and supporting execution of associated logistics.

  • Stakeholder management & influence: Manage relationships with key stakeholders and internal business partners across the region, building alignment and consensus around priority initiatives.

  • Workforce planning, reporting & space optimization: Ensure accuracy of headcount projections used for space planning produce reporting and analytics on headcount and real estate footprint manage space assignments to optimize utilization.

  • Real estate coordination & delivery: Coordinate space planning, move management, and location strategy, including day-to-day support of site operations and project delivery.

  • Ad-hoc projects, controls & governance responses: Handle business ad-hoc requests (e.g., technology, real estate, resource allocation) plan and oversee ad-hoc initiatives end-to-end.

Skills, experience & attributes required to succeed in the role:

  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Project management: Demonstrated project management experience across small, medium, and large-scale initiatives is an advantage.

  • Stakeholder management & influence: Proven ability to implement new processes, escalate issues appropriately, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to drive sound, timely decision-making.

  • Analytical problem-solving: Strong capability to analyze processes and issues, troubleshoot, identify connections, and deliver practical solutions.

  • Strategic and detail-oriented mindset: Comfortable diving into process, technical, and organizational detail while maintaining perspective on broader team objectives, line of business priorities, and firm strategy.

  • Controls & governance: Strong control mindset with high attention to detail and commitment to a robust risk and compliance environment.

  • Personal attributes: Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment self-starter who can prioritize and manage a demanding workload builds relationships and demonstrates influence across functions.
