Singapore Corporate Banking Department
Focused on building up the future relationship with our customers, we are now seeking a senior member who can manage the team members, who is also committed to growing the business to unprecedented heights.
Your key roles & responsibilities include:
- As Team Head or Joint Team Head, to manage a team in JCB under the supervision of Section Head (SH)
- Manage assigned accounts operation under the supervision of SH
- Maximize profitability for the accounts and have a responsibility for its performance
- Promote business along with marketing officers
- Maintain good relationships with existing customers
- Cultivate potential customers
- Meet the Bank and customers requirements
- Train team members and administration staffs
- Reports, correspondence etc, with Head Office and other Mizuho Offices
- Check and approve various kinds of supplementary information sheets attached with credit application (ex. Facility Rating statement, Credit Supervision Notification Memo, etc.)
- Department Compliance & Risk control
- Risk Asset control
- Information control
- Operations error control
- Such other tasks as may be appropriately assigned by the Bank from time to time
What you should have:
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in corporate banking related role.
- Strong interpersonal and business writing skills are attributes that will help the candidate perform successfully in this role.
- Skills for team management.
- Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese will be advantageous as the incumbent is expected to read & understand documents as well as respond & communicate in these two languages to our global offices and Head Office in Japan.
- Experience working in Japanese banking business environment will be advantageous.
- Strong understanding and affiliation to Japanese financial industry and Japanese Corporations with relevant network will be advantageous.
