Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced IT Risk & Compliance professional to strengthen our technology governance and ensure readiness for regulatory and audit requirements. This role oversees IT risk frameworks, supports audits, and guides teams on technology and cyber-related risk matters.
- Develop and maintain IT risk and compliance policies, processes, and controls.
- Lead control testing, monitor remediation progress, and ensure timely closure of issues.
- Keep management updated on regulatory changes, especially MAS-related guidelines.
- Promote IT risk awareness and drive governance improvements across technology teams.
- Review processes, identify gaps, and drive enhancements aligned with TRM, Cyber Hygiene, and industry standards.
- Manage the full cycle of IT audits and regulatory reviews, ensuring quality responses and effective action plans.
- Work with stakeholders to analyse audit findings, determine root causes, and validate remediation.
- Communicate updates to IT policies and provide guidance to relevant teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- At least 12 years of risk-related experience, with 8+ years in IT audit, IT governance, IT risk, or compliance-preferably in financial, banking, or payments sectors.
- Strong knowledge of MAS expectations and industry frameworks (TRM, Cyber Hygiene, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Experienced in engaging external auditors and regulators.
- Excellent writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented, with strong ability to review and assess IT controls and documentation.
- Leadership experience managing direct reports is an advantage.
- Open to candidates from IT audit or governance backgrounds transitioning into IT risk roles.
