Our client, a rapidly growing fintech and digital asset group is looking for a Global Regulatory Licensing Director to lead regulatory license acquisition and market-entry initiatives.
In this role, you'll shape the licensing strategy for new products and jurisdictions, work closely with cross-functional teams, and build the regulatory foundations that support high-growth expansion. Responsibilities
- Lead regulatory licensing applications for new markets and product launches globally
- Develop licensing strategies and roadmaps aligned with expansion goals
- Advise on regulatory structuring to optimise speed-to-market and reduce friction
- Partner cross functionally to produce high-quality regulatory submissions
- Prepare and refine business plans, policies and regulatory documents
- Be the main point of contact with regulators during the application and review processes
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and regulatory correspondence
- Support ongoing compliance obligations post-licensing
- Contribute to playbooks, SOPs and frameworks to strengthen future licensing efficiency
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in regulatory compliance with exposure to licensing for digital assets, fintech, payments, banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of multi-jurisdictional regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with regulators
- Proven experience running complex, cross-border projects independently
