Vice President, Investor Relations
Job Description
About the Opportunity
An Asia-based infrastructure investment firm is adding an investor relations professional to its fundraising team. The firm is in market, and the fundraising calendar here does not stop when a close lands. Separately managed accounts and co-investment work run alongside the primary raise, so LP meetings, calls and information requests are continuous rather than cyclical.
This is a new seat rather than a replacement, added as that activity builds. You would report to the managing director who leads the function regionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate a high volume of LP meetings, investor calls and roadshow logistics across the fundraising calendar.
- Lead the end-to-end management of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), investor requests and ad hoc information requests.
- Act as the central coordinator between Investment, Finance, Asset Management and other internal teams to ensure timely, accurate and consistent responses to LP enquiries.
- Maintain and manage fundraising materials, data rooms and supporting documentation.
- Track fundraising workflows, deadlines and follow-up actions across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Support the senior Investor Relations leader by participating in LP meetings and industry events, gaining exposure to institutional fundraising and investor engagement over time.
- Ensure all investor communications are delivered professionally and aligned with firm-wide messaging.
What Makes You a Fit
- 5 to 10 years in fundraising or investor relations, with at least five of those years LP-facing.
- Infrastructure background in a must. Candidates from infrastructure private equity or infrastructure investment platforms will be strongly preferred.
- You can speak credibly about who the major LPs in this space are, and how a standard DDQ and reporting cycle actually runs.
- Commitment, determination and integrity count for more here than polish.
