We are seeking a Vice President of Human Resources (VP HR) to lead and shape our people and organizational strategy across the ASEAN, India, and Australasia (AIA) region—one of the most diverse and fastest‑growing portfolios in our global footprint.
This role is designed for a Senior HR Executive who operates as a Strategic Business Partner, capable of translating corporate ambition into workforce capability, organizational resilience, and sustainable performance through 2026 and beyond.
You will serve as a core member of the regional leadership team, working alongside the AIA MD and business heads to shape strategy, guide transformation, and enable growth through people.

Beyond operational excellence, this role carries a clear mandate to drive enterprise value through HR leadership, including:
Enterprise Strategy Enablement:
- Translate business strategy into workforce architecture, leadership capability, and succession depth that directly supports revenue growth, market expansion, and operating leverage.
Workforce Planning & Talent Density:
- Shift from headcount‑driven models to talent density and critical‑role design, ensuring the right skills and leadership are in place for high‑impact growth markets such as India and emerging ASEAN economies.
Data‑Driven People Decisions:
- Embed advanced analytics, predictive workforce insights, and Agentic AI to improve decision quality across hiring, retention, performance, and leadership development.
Culture as a Competitive Advantage:
- Build a strong, inclusive, and performance‑oriented g‑local culture that balances global consistency with deep respect for local norms, values, and labour realities.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensuring HR Department's day-to-day functions run smoothly and efficiently.
- Act as the Principal HR Advisor to the CHRO and MD on people, culture, and organizational risk.
- Harmonize HR frameworks (talent, performance, rewards, leadership) across AIA while ensuring local compliance.
- Lead executive succession planning and leadership development for critical regional roles.
- Oversee employee relations, labour relations, and union engagement where applicable.
- Champion employee well‑being, mental health, and inclusive leadership practices at scale.
Experience & Profile
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership, including Senior Regional or APAC roles.
- Proven track record of influencing business outcomes through HR strategy.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link people initiatives to ROI.
- High cultural intelligence and experience operating across complex, multicultural environments.
- Comfortable operating at pace, with flexibility for travel and irregular hours.
