About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated team player to join our Finance leadership team. Working closely with the Group CFO, this role will be based in our Singapore office.
Regional Team Leadership
Assist in directly managing and mentoring a team of finance professionals (accountants, analysts, payables/receivables specialists) spanning 5 countries.
Build high-performing regional units through recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and succession planning.
Implement standardized processes while adapting to local GAAP/IFRS nuances and cultural differences.
Conduct virtual and on-site team meetings, training sessions, and quarterly site visits to foster collaboration and accountability.
Resolve cross-border conflicts, align incentives, and maintain morale in remote/hybrid environments.
Financial Control & Reporting
Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and statutory reporting for regional entities.
Coordinate external audits and tax filings across jurisdictions.
Risk, Compliance & Process Improvement
Enforce internal controls and anti-fraud measures tailored to regional risks.
Lead system implementations (ERP upgrades, automation tools) with regional IT and operations teams.
Strategic Support
Partner with regional business heads on budgeting, forecasting and initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
7+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 4 years managing geographically dispersed teams (multi-country scope mandatory).
Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Deep knowledge of IFRS
Proven track record implementing shared-service models or finance transformation in multinational settings.
Advanced Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite), and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
Previous experience in Real Estate industry will be a plus.
Exposure to transfer pricing, hedging, and treasury operations in volatile currencies will be a plus.
