Your key roles & responsibilities include:
- Promote Global Transaction Banking business by providing tailor-made trade solutions to customers regionally with lined-up products to comprehensively fulfil customers needs in various situations throughout the treasury cycle.
- Reinforce comprehensive approach to handle new products or services by consolidating necessary know-how and expertise.
- Promote the business by supporting RM offices and divisions, including marketing, business planning, sales, development, implementation and training.
- Make business development and promotion strategy for trade for the branches in Asia Pacific region.
- Work with the Bank's internals including departments at Bank's Head Office in Tokyo, government agencies, other banks, IT vendors, counsels, etc. beyond the countries and regions.
What you should have:
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking including Trade Finance.
- Strong interpersonal and business writing skills are attributes that will help the candidate perform successfully in this role.
- Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese will be advantageous as the incumbent is expected to read & understand documents as well as respond & communicate in these two languages to our global offices and Head Office in Japan.
- Expertise in analysing data, developing internal procedures and planning of marketing strategies in banking business.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to acquire consensus among stakeholders
- Skills for team management.
- Experience working in Japanese banking business environment is advantageous.
- Strong understanding and affiliation to Japanese financial industry and Japanese Corporations with relevant network will be advantageous.
