Job Description

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Vice President, Global Process Innovation is to lead the global process innovation team to identify, evaluate, patent, pilot, and implement process improvements and innovations that enhance guest experiences and drive efficiencies. This role requires both visionary leadership and disciplined execution to ensure innovations move beyond concept into measurable, scaled impact across the enterprise.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.s policies, practices, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing, multi-disciplinary innovation organization spanning process engineering, data science, robotics, applied AI, and emerging technology domains. Set vision, operating model, and performance standards while developing leadership capability and succession within the team.

• Own and govern a portfolio of high-impact innovation initiatives, prioritizing based on strategic impact, ROI, risk, and scalability, and ensuring successful transition from concept and pilot into operational deployment

• Eliminate pilot stagnation by instituting clear stage-gates, success metrics, and adoption plans; ensure innovations are either scaled, integrated, or retired within defined timelines.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to corporate and property leadership, translating business challenges into actionable innovation roadmaps and providing clear, data-driven recommendations.

• Collaborate with department leadership to understand operational pain points, brainstorm improvement solutions, jointly align solutions, and actively lead execution through production deployment.

• Demonstrate thought leadership by originating new concepts and innovation themes while integrating business needs; continuously challenge the status quo and drive high-impact ideas forward.

• Facilitate and exchange ideas including best practices sharing across departments, organizations, and regions.

• Represent Sands externally with technology partners, suppliers, startups, research institutions, and universities. Shape strategic partnerships, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure external engagements deliver measurable business value.

• Develop robust but lean processes to identify, evaluate, fund, pilot, patent, and implement appropriate innovations.

• Create clear project roadmaps with appropriate categorization including cost and timing.

• Oversee process mapping to enhance guest experiences and drive efficiencies.

• Establish a repository of process innovation knowledge and lessons learned.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of business, innovation or engineering leadership experience is required.

• Bachelors degree is required ideally in mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering or scientific disciplines.

• Master's degree in the above disciplines preferred.

• Managing large-scale programs and complex projects.

• Demonstrated experience advising senior executives, influencing decision-making, and communicating complex topics clearly and effectively.

• Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, evolving environments and to work effectively within matrix organizations.

• Proven track record of driving process improvements and leading them end-to-end from concept through pilot to scaled production, with demonstrated impact on business performance

• Ability to travel.

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in standard English in written and oral business communications.

• Ability to work across multiple cultures and global teams.

• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.

Work Environment

• Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with frequent interruptions or distractions.

• Adapt to frequent changes in workload and be able to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate while completing tasks within established time frames.

• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow Team Members, management, outside contacts, guest and the public

• Ability to meet the basic physical requirements of an office environment including moving freely and frequently about an office, accessing computers and related technologies using peripheral equipment and operating other office equipment
