About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Vice President, FP&A to serve as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership in an exciting, industry-leading, global business. This role will lead financial planning and analysis across our events and exhibitions business, driving performance, enabling data-driven decision-making, and supporting the Company's growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic Finance leader, partnering with senior stakeholders to shape business strategy and drive performance across key business units
- Lead and develop the FP&A function, delivering end-to-end financial planning processes including long-term strategy, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning
- Own and manage P&L and cash flow performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets
- Provide insightful analysis on business performance, proactively identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to optimise revenue, margins, and capital allocation
- Oversee management reporting to ensure timely, accurate, and meaningful insights for business units and Group Corporate, supported by robust financial modelling
- Drive initiatives to enhance financial performance, including cost optimisation and operational efficiency across the organisation
- Lead transformation initiatives, including process improvements, systems implementation, and the digitalisation of FP&A capabilities
- Establish and strengthen financial governance, internal controls, and policies to support compliance and effective risk management
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on strategic initiatives, investments, and key business decisions
Requirements
- MBA and/or CPA/ CA preferred
- Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience in FP&A or commercial finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong commercial acumen with proven experience partnering senior stakeholders in a complex, multi-entity environment
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning, analysis, and business performance management
- Experience in events, exhibitions, or project-based industries is an advantage
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proven track record in driving transformation, process improvements, and system implementations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
