Role Description

A Vice President of Finance is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning, and operations of an organization. They ensure financial stability, compliance, and growth while supporting strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Monitor financial performance and advise the CEO and executive team on key decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance.
  • Manage finance teams, including accounting, treasury, and financial planning units.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; professional certifications (CPA, CFA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Extensive experience in senior finance roles, including financial management, planning, and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
