VP, Finance (Real Estate APAC)
Our client is a high-growth Regional Investment Platform providing specialized corporate and financial services to a leading global Alternative Asset Manager.
This is a high-visibility leadership role based in Singapore, offering strategic oversight across the Asia-Pacific region.
The Role
As VP of Finance, you will lead the regional finance function for a diverse and institutional-grade asset class. You will be responsible for the integrity of financial reporting, sophisticated capital management, and operational excellence across complex, multi-jurisdictional fund structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Financial Oversight: Lead the end-to-end reporting and accounting lifecycle for APAC assets, ensuring seamless consolidation across multiple jurisdictions and SPV structures.
- Strategic Business Partnership: Act as a critical interface between the investment deal teams and the broader asset management platform to facilitate portfolio growth.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Direct and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and career progression.
- Governance & Compliance: Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to maintain institutional-grade compliance standards.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with a significant emphasis on Private Equity Real Estate (PERE), Fund Accounting, or Big 4 (Real Estate/Financial Services).
- Technical Expertise: Mastery of IFRS and local GAAP, with a proven track record in managing complex, multi-currency consolidations.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA, or equivalent) is essential.
