Responsible for overseeing, managing the design & planning of the DC facilities in APAC region. Management of risk and change, including approval of technical, commercial and schedule impact from all stakeholders.
Responsible for budgetary costing and schedule estimation at initial stage for new DCs and/or expansion stage for existing DCs.
To manage and support multiple DC projects in APAC regions and providing technical and functional supports from conceptual design through construction to commissioning.
Ensuring the project design is delivered to specification, on time and on budget.
Review of constructability of electrical and mechanical system and building designs associated with the construction of new DCs or the optimization of existing DCs.
To manage end-to-end customization projects for Hyperscalers to meet customers requirement.
To attend at Technical sessions with customers as a leader of technical team, including 3rd consultant parties if any.
Oversees building, plant and equipment maintenance and security and ensuring health and safety standards compliance.
To develop sustainability strategy for APAC.
To facilitate NTT's Global standardization activities for each DCs.
Requirement:
Recognized university degree
More than 10 years of relevant experience in Data Center Design & Construction.
Strong Technical knowledge of DC infrastructure and facilities.
Knowledge and experience of project cycle from Concept development, through Detailed Design and Construction to Commissioning.
Experience managing large-scale technical projects in a rapidly-changing industry, ability to tolerate ambiguity and demonstrated problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.
High level of communication skills (both written and oral)
