Vice President, Corporate Finance:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing a diverse range of corporate finance transactions, including capital raising, M&A and strategic advisory mandates. This role involves leading a team of junior associates, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Execution
- Lead end-to-end execution of corporate finance transactions, focusing mainly on equity capital market fundraising and M&A as well as strategic advisory projects.
- Oversee preparation of financial models, valuation analyses, pitch books, and transaction documentation.
- Coordinate due diligence processes, liaising with internal teams, clients, and external advisors (legal, tax, auditors).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management standards.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of junior associates, providing guidance on all aspects of transaction execution.
- Review and approve work outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, encouraging professional development.
Client Engagement
- Act as a key point of contact for clients during transaction execution.
- Support senior management in maintaining and developing client relationships.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Strategic Contribution
- Contribute to business development efforts by supporting origination activities and preparing proposals.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and execution quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a recognised university
- SGX Registered Professional and MAS CMS qualified
- Prior experience (at least 8 years) in corporate finance, investment banking or related advisory roles
- Strong technical skills in financial modelling, transaction structuring and execution
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in English and an Asian language (e.g. Mandarin, Bahasa)
