Vice President, Corporate Finance

Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance, the Vice President, Corporate Finance will be responsible for overseeing and delivering the financial modelling, valuation, and analysis of renewable energy projects, supporting investment evaluation, financing, and stakeholder reporting throughout development to operation.

1. On an ongoing basis, develop, maintain, and optimise financial models for a variety of renewable energy projects including solar, wind and storage.

2. Evaluation of the renewable project portfolio across different Asian jurisdictions at different stages, from development to operation phases

3. Working on preparing regular valuation and project update reports for stakeholders and sponsors

4. Track and analyse actual project performance in collaboration with finance and operations teams

5. Support project evaluation by working closely with development, project management teams, legal, and finance teams and external advisors

6. Provide up-to-date information concerning local tax and regulation matters impacting company's investments

7. Conduct risk-return assessments of investment opportunities, focusing on return optimisation and scenario analysis

8. Provide financial projections and analysis to support permitting, financing and deal structuring, including lender models and draft term sheets

9. Prepare investment memorandum and presentation for internal and external stakeholders

10. Maintain and enhance corporate portfolio model to support strategic planning

11. Contribute to financing strategies for new development initiatives, exploring innovating structures and funding options

Job Requirements
Minimum of 10 years experience in capital projects and infrastructure across Southeast Asia, with a minimum of 3 years in the renewable energy sector

At least 5 years experience acquired in a consultancy, banking institution or professional services firm

Expertise in complex financial modelling and valuation of renewable energy projects

Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia preferred to support one of our biggest projects

Advanced project finance / financial modelling skills (Excel proficiency essential familiarity with VBA or modelling best practices advantageous)

Ability to evaluate risk, interpret technical, legal, and regulatory information for financial impacts

Excellent communication / presentation skills for reporting findings and evaluations

Degree in engineering / finance or business administration is essential

Familiarity with tax, regulatory, and financing frameworks relevant to renewable energy investments
