Cochlear's Connected Care ecosystem is built to support hearingimplant patients and clinicians across the entire care pathway. The portfolio is organized into four product categories, each containing tools, technologies, and services designed to enhance clinical efficiency and patient outcomes.

  • Remote Care: Enables clinicians to stay connected with patients and provide convenient, consistent care without requiring an inclinic visit.
  • Selfmanaged Care: Empowers patients to actively manage their hearing performance in reallife situations in partnership with their clinician.
  • Inclinic Care: Gives clinicians the tools needed to ensure every clinic appointment delivers the best results for each patient.
  • Surgical Care: Provides actionable intraoperative insights that help optimize device placement and enhance surgical outcomes.

The Opportunity

Cochlear now has a rare enterprise-wide leadership opportunity for a Vice President (VP) Connected Care. This role will be responsible for defining and executing Cochlear's global digital product strategy across its full portfolio of customer-facing software, mobile applications, and connected health solutions, including:

  • The digital product vision and multi-year roadmap
  • Business model and commercialisation strategy
  • Go-to-market planning and execution frameworks
  • Marketing and value communication strategy
  • Cross-portfolio coordination and value optimisation

Drawing on deep customer insights and expertise in digital health and connected technologies, the successful VP Connected Care will own the vision of Cochlear's digital product portfolio and drive the next wave of commercial growth. About You. As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers. To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Essential

  • 10+ years experience working in digital health and/or health IT with both country-level and global responsibilities
  • 5+ years experience launching digital health or health IT products in a wide variety of clinical settings (e.g. hospital system, independent clinic, etc.) and reimbursement environments across the globe
  • 3+ years experience selling health IT and/or digital health solutions into payers and capitated health systems
  • 2+ years experience working within a health system, provider group or payer organization
  • Leadership and stakeholder engagement capability, including prior experience influencing senior executive leadership teams
  • Ability to understand complex products/services and to identify and assess commercial opportunities.

Proven track record in:

  • Upstream product and/or service definition
  • Support of products/services during the product development process
  • Product/service concept creation and realisation
  • Product/services launch campaigns
  • Obtaining payment or reimbursement for digital health tools
  • Product lifecycle management
  • Relevant qualifications: Bachelor's degree in science or engineering (or equivalent through experience).

Ideal:

  • An MBA or post-graduate degree in marketing/business (or equivalent through experience)
  • A thinker who challenges the norm with customer-centric, fact-based, decision-making
