Your new role
As a senior member of the Compliance team, you will play a critical role in advising capital markets businesses on regulatory and firm-wide compliance matters. You will provide guidance across equity and debt capital markets activities including underwriting, private placements and marketing of securities offerings, while overseeing information barriers and managing conflicts of interest. In this role, you will work closely with senior management, business teams, legal and external advisers to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls. You will also act as a key contact point with regulators on licencing, inspections and enquiries, support AML initiatives including transaction monitoring frameworks and review market disclosures to ensure accuracy and compliance. This is a senior hands-on position suited for a commercially aware compliance professional who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced capital markets environment.
What you'll need to succeed
In order for you to succeed in this position, you will have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Law, Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related discipline from a prominent institution
At least 6-8 years of compliance experience in a prominent investment management firm in Singapore
Strong knowledge of local regulatory frameworks including MAS, SFA, FAA and SGX rules
Exposure to regulatory examinations and compliance reviews
Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
