Department Overview:
Nomura's Asset Management department is a leading provider of investment solutions to institutional and individual clients worldwide. Role Description:
- Service the clients in Asia ex-Japan region, primarily in Southeast Asia countries.
- Provide sales support function for sales based in Singapore and also rest of the Asia ex-Japan Distribution Team.
- Supporting the Head of Client Service &Business Management for Asia ex-Japan in management of the overall Distribution Team in the Region by helping with governance procedures and subsequent monitoring.
- Supporting Head of Client Service & Business Management for Asia ex-Japan in all ad-hoc projects related to the overall Asia ex-Japan Business of Nomura Asset Management.
- Covering end to end delivery across NAM clients in the Asia ex-Japan region and support the local sales in all business development activities. This includes both Institutional and Wholesale client segment in Asia ex-Japan region.
- Supporting the Head of Client Service & Business Management for Asia ex-Japan on business management function.
- Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time from senior management of NAM.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 10 years of Client Servicing or Sales support experience in the financial services industry
- Demonstrated experience covering institutional and wholesale clients across Southeast Asian markets, with relevant Asia-Pacific ex-Japan regional experience, as the role requires market knowledge and client servicing experience across Southeast Asia and the broader Asia ex-Japan region.
- Experience working within a complex, matrixed corporate environment effectively, and ability to navigate complex processes.
- Display passion and energy to support the business growth.
- Have sensitivity, discretion and sound judgement with the ability to interact at all levels.
