Role
Within our Clermont Holdings division, and as part of Clermont's internal consulting team, you will be a business professional to one or more of our operating companies, with a mandate to achieve business outcomes and drive operating change.
The role combines elements of strategy and operations, involving close collaboration with management to ensure effective execution. High performing associates will be trained for future leadership within the relevant industry track.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior management teams to evaluate business performance, define long-term strategy, and identify value-creation opportunities across our operating companies
- Drive the execution of strategic initiatives within the operating companies, acting as a change agent to ensure business goals and outcomes are achieved
- Serve as the primary liaison between Clermont Holdings and operating companies, ensuring alignment, transparency, and progress reporting to executive leadership
- Oversee and guide major projects, including capital allocation, operational efficiency improvements, and business model transformation
- Lead rigorous financial and performance analysis, preparing strategic insights and reports for senior leadership
- Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making Lead the analysis and reporting of monthly and quarterly business performance; prepare and present performance review materials to senior Clermont leadership
Qualifications
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following traits:
- Strong expertise in portfolio management, valuation, and financial modelling with a practical, commercial mindset
- Background in strategy, management consulting, corporate development, or M&A
- Deep commercial acumen and the ability to think like an entrepreneur while managing complex organizations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with senior executives and external stakeholders effectively
- High attention to detail with ownership of critical business metrics and outcomes
- Ability to work easily across cultures and geographies
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and project management skills
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, positive, and energizing leadership style
- Curiosity and a growth mindset, with a willingness to take on work beyond traditional strategic or private equity operating roles
Administrative Details
- Start date: Immediate preferred
- Compensation: Competitive base salary
- Benefits: Medical insurance; 23 days annual leave
- Education: Degree from first-class institution, preferably with a major in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related fields with a good GPA
- Experience: 6 - 8+ years in strategic, operational, or advisory roles, ideally in top-tier consulting firms, investment banking, or in-house M&A/strategic teams. Demonstrated success in driving complex business initiatives is required
- Languages: Excellent command of English (written and spoken)

- Travel: Based in Singapore. Regular international travel may be required
