We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Development team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a key contributor to our sales initiatives, you will drive business growth across a broad region and/or mid-sized industry by managing a large portfolio of contacts and potential accounts. You will leverage your extensive professional network and market insights to identify and secure new business opportunities, while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and supporting complex sales processes.

We will count on you to:

  • Drive sales initiatives by completing a high volume of sales calls and presentations, expanding and attending to a large portfolio of contacts and potential accounts.
  • Leverage an expansive internal and external professional network and market research to gain new business or interest from mid-sized, nuanced, or manifold potential accounts.
  • Consistently interact with internal and external senior-level stakeholders and assist senior colleagues by acting as project manager for advanced work streams in the deal process.
  • Conduct advanced market research aligned with internal priorities to identify and vet potential business opportunities.
  • Author comprehensive due diligence reports with complex financial analyses and detailed market/product insights for proposal work.
  • Devise targeted marketing plans for various business offerings directed at mid-sized or nuanced potential accounts and assist with complex marketing plans for senior colleagues.

What you need to have:

  • Proven experience driving sales initiatives and managing a broad portfolio of accounts in a regional or industry-specific context.
  • Strong network within relevant professional and industry-related organizations.
  • Advanced knowledge of market research, financial analysis, and sales processes.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience authoring stewardship reports and feasibility studies to support business development.
  • Active participation and contribution to industry conferences and professional organizations.
  • Ability to independently manage complex marketing and sales projects with minimal supervision.

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
