Act as Person-in-Charge (PIC) for the daily operations of 9-10 owned dry bulk vessels.
Monitor vessel positions, performance, and ensure charterers voyage instructions are executed in line with Owners charter party agreements.
Prepare hire statements for assigned vessels and coordinate with technical managers on hire deductions raised by charterers, as well as other operational matters.
Maintain and update all operational records and documentation required by the operations team.
Track and implement charter party updates and addendums as necessary.
Review voyage reports and monitor vessel performance throughout the voyage.
Handle documentation related to Bills of Lading (BLs) and Letters of Indemnity (LOIs).
Process and settle invoices with both technical managers and charterers.
Manage EU-ETS and FuelEU compliance matters, including liaising with charterers and providing guidance to vessel operators.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 3 years experience in dry bulk carrier operations, preferably with a shipowner or operator.
Familiarity with the IMOS system and charter party terms.
Basic understanding of marine insurance and claims handling with charterers.
