A leading global player in shipping and logistics is expanding its commercial team and seeking highly qualified candidates for the Vessel Operations Executive position based in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage berth arrangements and vessel scheduling to maximize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics (fuel consumption, turnaround times, stowage efficiency) to identify improvement opportunities.
- Enhance stowage planning to shorten vessel stay durations and improve overall fleet turnaround.
- Ensure effective berth allocation and vessel coordination, aligned with performance monitoring insights.
- Maintain close collaboration with terminals and local teams to ensure seamless vessel operations.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives, cost‑saving measures, and bunker fuel efficiency efforts.
- Support digital transformation projects aimed at improving fleet performance and operational reliability.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Maritime, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in vessel operations, stowage planning, or fleet performance monitoring within the shipping industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on fleet performance data.
- Proven problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to perform under fast‑paced, dynamic conditions.
