Job Description

Brief Summary

This role focuses on driving business development and product validation initiatives by fostering partnerships with established consumer brands across Asia. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in business strategy and experience in product commercialization.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with established consumer brands in Asia for product validation and partnership opportunities. Lead business development activities, encompassing partner sourcing, opportunity assessment, proposal development, and negotiation of partnerships. Collaborate closely with partners to scope, structure, and execute product validation projects from concept to market testing. Manage the complete product development and commercialization processes, coordinating with partners and internal stakeholders. Conduct market research, consumer validation, and competitive analysis to evaluate product-market fit and commercial viability. Prepare financial models, business cases, revenue forecasts, and investment projections to aid decision-making. Develop and design business models, growth strategies, and commercialization roadmaps for validated products. Define key performance indicators (KPIs), success metrics, financial targets, and project milestones. Support regular management reporting, budgeting, audit requirements, and various financial accounting activities. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and manage multiple projects concurrently to ensure effective execution. Assist the COO with selected finance, reporting, and operational functions to ensure efficient execution across various projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree 3 to 7 years of experience in business development, venture building, corporate innovation, strategy, product management, or related fields. Experience in working with consumer products, retail businesses, or sectors like FMCG, food, and beverage is preferred. Proven track record in developing strategic partnerships and managing external stakeholders. Experience in launching, building, or scaling new products or businesses.
