Supplier Qualification & Auditing: Lead technical assessments and audits (Process, Quality System, Product) to approve PCBA suppliers based on manufacturing capability, IPC compliance, and test readiness.
Quality System Controls: Define and enforce quality agreements and acceptance criteria. Verify supplier controls including PFMEA, Control Plans, and SPC/Process Capability monitoring (Cp/Cpk).
Test Engineering Oversight: Lead reviews of ICT (In-Circuit Test) and FCT (Functional Test) at supplier sites. Optimize test point accessibility and robustness to eliminate quality escapes and improve yields.
Performance Management (KPIs): Establish and monitor supplier health metrics, including Yield, DPPM, and Escape Rates. Manage change control processes for materials, equipment, and test programs.
Corrective Action & Root Cause: Lead complex quality investigations using 8D, A3, and 5-Why methodologies. Drive the implementation and verification of effective permanent corrective actions.
