Vending Machine Technician

A Vending Machine Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated dispensing machines. This role ensures machines remain functional, clean, and well-stocked to provide a seamless user experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Installation & Maintenance: Set up and install new machines at client locations. Conduct routine checks, preventative maintenance, and cleaning to ensure optimal performance. Performing checks to prevent breakdowns, such as addressing card reader or payment issues
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and electronic breakdowns, including cooling/refrigeration systems. Perform tasks like light brazing, painting, or PCB troubleshooting as needed.
• Stock & Inventory Management: Refill machines with products (e.g., snacks, drinks etc) and operational supplies where needed. Order repair parts and maintain accurate service and inventory records.
• Logistics & Field Support: Drive to various sites along established route schedules. Assist in warehouse organization and the loading/unloading of equipment.
• Customer Handling: Provide technical support to clients and manage customer feedback, ensuring accurate daily reconciliation.

Key Requirements

Technical Skills: Strong hands-on ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. Knowledge of electronics and refrigeration is often essential. Minimum 1 yr prior experience

Certifications & Licensing: A valid driving license (e.g., Class 3) is required.

Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment or supplies (often up to 23 kg) and perform manual labor.

Off Peak Hours: Work during off-peak hours to minimize disruption to customer service and maximize machine uptime is a must.

Professionalism: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and maintain a professional appearance while representing the company.
