Role Overview
Responsible for valve servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance both in-house and at customer sites. The role involves site surveys, service implementation, technical problem-solving, and customer engagement to ensure reliable valve and control system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and implement valve-related service projects.
- Troubleshoot control valves, on/off valves, actuators, and instrumentation issues at customer sites.
- Perform valve inspection, servicing, repair, and maintenance both in-house and on-site.
- Coordinate service schedules and execution plans with customer service teams.
- Prepare root cause analysis reports and recommend corrective solutions.
- Work with internal teams to resolve customer technical challenges.
- Identify business opportunities, generate sales leads, and promote service and maintenance contracts.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and procedures.
Ideal Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in valve servicing, instrumentation, process industries, or field service.
- Good knowledge of control valves, on/off valves, actuators, and control instrumentation.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Strong problem-solving, customer relationship management, and communication skills.
- A proactive, customer-oriented team player who can work independently.
- Willingness to travel at short notice.
- Class 3 driving licence preferred.
