Optical communication is ubiquitous in these networks worldwide, both in long and short reaches. Marvell Optics group's development of high-speed Silicon photonics chip(PIC), advanced integrating packaging technology and design of high speed electronics(components like TIA and driver), enabling this exponential growth of data movement through optical interconnects.What You Can Expect
Candidate will setup/bring-up automated tester for the calibration and characterization of electro-optic transceivers or related components or electronics for fiber optic communications.
Development of calibration routine, verification test routines, maintaining/setting up of test platform for optical transceiver testing. These tasks support products from the R&D phase all the way to high volume production.
What We're Looking For
Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical communications or other related field with 2 to 5 years of experience in optical components testing and high-speed links testing.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5 to 7+ years of related professional experience.
Relevant testing experience or knowledge of optical communications from system to component level.
Experience with automating instrument control.
Programming: Python(preferred), C, etc. (Exposures to Matlab and ADS is desirable).
Ability to debug/validate hardware/electronics.
Background in digital signal processing (preferred).
Team player with good communication skills.
