Essential Responsibilities :
Key Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)
- Perform visual & dimensional inspections, and set area management of the parts
- Ensure proper work clearance, router/documentation/records correctness and completeness
- Ensure all incoming conditions of the parts are properly recorded for accurate workscope determination (Incoming Inspector)
- Ensure quality of parts meet specification requirements (Final Inspector)
- Prevent non-conforming parts from proceeding to the next work station
- Provide support to Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Engineers for evaluations, audits related activities (as required)
- Collect data, feedback on the quality of parts inspected to the Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Engineers (as required)
- Perform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasks
- Support other department in relevant jobs and any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
- GCE O level or equivalent with 3 years Quality inspection working experience; or
- GCE A level or equivalent with 2 years experience in Quality Inspection; or
- NITEC in Mechanical Engineering;
- Any other relevant recognized technical training/certifications (case by case basis)
Desired Characteristics
- Diploma in Mechanical and/or Aircraft Engineering
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of flaws and defects
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments
- Ability to comprehend blue print
- QC experience in repair or manufacturing industry
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- A team player
