Key Responsibilities
Create diagrams, wireframes, high fidelity visual mockups, and
prototypes to communicate design strategies and interaction
behaviours.
Propose design decisions that are desirable for users, viable for the
business and feasible technically.
Lead, participate and champion user research activities to understand
users goals, behaviour and needs.
Design the overall structure and behaviour of the system, information
flows and work flows
- Define context scenarios and tell stories about ideal user experiences
the team wants to achieve, and
- Test and refine the product through evaluative research, ensuring
that the design enables to meet the users goals and complete their
tasks.
Skillset
Team player with strong organization and people handling skills.
Good communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to
pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch and Adobe
CS (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
Trained in a Design Discipline (e.g. Interaction, Graphic, Visual
Communications), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related
field or equivalent practical experience.
Understanding of underlying technology and mediums. For example,
how a web browser works and renders pixels on the screen. Knowing how to code is an additional advantage.
Pro-active, resourceful and self-motivated to innovate and take smart risks to achieve business goals.
Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)
Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate end-to-end UX experience, including user research and journey design, and hold UX Designer certifications.
