Assist the Project Manager in overseeing utility operations/ diversion and maintenance activities.
Preparation and submission of utilities design documents, including drawings, specifications and schedules.
Monitor utility works to ensure compliance with satutory requirements, construction procedures, and safe work practices.
Supervise subcontractors works to ensure timely completion and quality standards of project
Monitor to ensure that utilities and M&E works executed are in accordance to statutory requirements, construction procedures and safe work practices
Liaise and coordinate between utilities agencies and construction team on excavation works, services diversion and reinstatement works near underground or utilities services
Prepare and review project documentation related to utility management, including permits and compliance reports
Manage utility-related budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations for projects
Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team regarding utility installations and modifications
Ensure that all utility-related works comply with environmental regulations and best practices
Provide technical input and solutions for complex utility challenges during project execution
Participate in project meetings to report on utility management status and address any issues that may arise
Work closely with utilities agencies to provide update of progress in construction site, utilities damages or unknown service
Job Requirement:
Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PE Board or qualification accepted to the Commission of Building Control as eligible for application as Resident Engineer or Recognized Degree in relevant field subject to the acceptance of the Engineer, and at least 2 years of experience in construction supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity.
