valid Certificate of Competency for Boiler Attendant (at least Class 2)
Job Scope:
- Monitor, operate, and maintain utility systems and production equipment such as Boiler steam generation system, Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Odour Containment System with chemical scrubber Reverse Osmosis (RO) water system Chillers etc
- Ensure all utility systems and production equipment start and operate efficiently and reliably.
- Conduct regular maintenance activities such as chemical top-ups for systems like WWTP and chemical scrubber. Removal and proper disposal of waste residues, such as flocculated sludge in WWTP
- Perform Periodic inspection and preventive maintenance of all systems and production equipment
- Perform functional checks and monitor key operating parameters, maintaining accurate records.
- Execute primary maintenance programs and promptly identify early signs of malfunction or wear, reporting issues to superiors.
- Coordinate and liaise with vendors and contractors for maintenance works, spare parts procurement, and chemical supplies.
- Oversee contractor-led instrument calibration programs for utility systems and production equipment.
