Job Summary
Supervise subcontractors and coordinate utilities and M&E works to ensure timely project completion, compliance with statutory requirements, and safe work practices in construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead subcontractors to deliver project milestones on schedule while maintaining quality standards
- Monitor utilities and mechanical & electrical (M&E) works to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, construction procedures, and safety protocols
- Coordinate excavation, service diversion, and reinstatement activities by liaising effectively between utilities agencies and the construction team
- Collaborate with utilities agencies to provide timely updates on construction progress, report utilities damages, and identify unknown underground services
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or qualification accepted by the Commission of Building Control as eligible for Resident Engineer application
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience
- At least 2 years of construction supervision experience on projects of similar scale and complexity
