To qualify for the role, you must have / be able to demonstrate a combination of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial design, human-computer interaction (HCI), graphic design or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in UX design, including research and UI design
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design work and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable facilitating workshops and engaging with non-designers
- Experience working in Agile teams, with a bias toward action and experimentation
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
- Skilled in tools like Figma, Miro, and research/texting tools, etc
- Good understanding of user research methods and the ability to analyse data to inform design decisions
- Passion for learning, exploring new methods, and helping others grow
- Excellent communication, storytelling and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
