URGENT HIRE: Automation Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer to manage and support automation, fabrication, and production-related activities within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full lifecycle of automation equipment from design and installation through commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support automation, fabrication, and production-related activities within manufacturing operations
• Perform hands-on machine assembly, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance work
• Design, implement, and optimize process automation systems, including sensors, electrical valves, and related field devices
• Draw and maintain electrical single line diagrams
• Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems
• Collaborate with production, fabrication, and engineering teams to ensure smooth operation of automated systems
• Diagnose and resolve equipment faults to minimize production downtime
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to automation and process efficiency
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and engineering best practices

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Strong hands-on experience in process automation — managing sensors, electrical valves, and related field instrumentation
• Proficiency in drawing electrical single line diagrams
• Experience in PLC and HMI programming
• Practical experience with machine assembly, installation, and commissioning
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills for automated/production equipment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
