Your new role
- Perform hands on system integration and system migration work on our sophisticated, large scale finance systems in Asia region.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including upper/down steam systems, hardware infra team to define system migration strategy, timeline and risk mitigation plan.
- Execute actual system migration and intergration of the electronic finance systems.
- Perform the post migration validation and ensure the system integrity after migration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the migration.
- Coordinate with internal teams and PMO to make sure the migration milestones are met.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of system migration of large scale system under Unix/Linux
- Experience in maintaining and operating on electronic finance systems
- Have the knowledge of C++ and JAVA is a strong plus
- Knowledge of financial market data
- Knowledge of network concepts, understand the concepts of TCP/IP and UDP connectivity and data transfer. Knowledge of multicast is a plus
- SQL (Sybase or DB2 would be advantageous)
