Job Summary
The Underwriter/Senior Underwriter, Financial Lines will focus on underwriting financial lines products, including D&O, FI, PI and Cyber, primarily for clients in Singapore.
The role will provide the opportunity to expand into regional wholesale business in future.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite all lines of financial lines products for retail clients, evaluating risk exposures and determining coverage terms and pricing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to drive business growth and ensure high client satisfaction.
- Monitor portfolio performance, including loss ratios and premium growth, to maintain profitability.
- Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in the financial lines sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in insurance, finance, business, economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in financial lines underwriting.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
