UI/UX Designer

Key Responsibilities

1. Experience Design

Create user flows, information structures, and interaction models to enable intuitive navigation and efficient functionality.

Develop micro-interactions and motion features that improve usability and deliver clear visual feedback.

2. Interface Design

Develop visually engaging and functional user interfaces for websites, applications, and digital platforms.

Design visual elements including graphics, icons, and illustrations in line with brand guidelines.

Select appropriate colour palettes and typography to enhance readability, clarity, and visual structure.

3. Wireframing and Prototyping

Produce low- to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualise, test, and refine design concepts.

4. Responsive and Accessible Design

Ensure designs are responsive and perform effectively across different devices and screen dimensions.

Implement accessibility guidelines and best practices to accommodate users with disabilities.

5. Design Systems and Documentation

Establish and maintain style guides, component libraries, and design systems to promote product consistency.

6. Usability Testing and Iteration

Lead or assist in usability testing to assess design effectiveness and gather user feedback.

Apply an iterative approach to design, continuously improving solutions based on research insights and testing outcomes.

Experience and Skills Required

Demonstrated experience in experience design, product design, or related positions.

Advanced degree, formal training, or certification in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, or proven exceptional expertise in similar disciplines.

A strong portfolio highlighting UX/UI and visual design capabilities with measurable business impact.

Advanced proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite.

Ability to work collaboratively with Product, Technology, Data, and Business stakeholders.

Strong knowledge of product design processes and emerging technologies.

Proven systems thinking, leadership abilities, teamwork skills, and successful project delivery within dynamic, agile environments.

Self-driven, organised, and analytical, with excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and complex problem-solving skills.
