Job Description

Job Description:

  • Design end-to-end user experiences across pre-purchase and post-purchase journeys, delivering seamless shopping experiences for regional users
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers from problem discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Use user insights, analytics, experiments, and business goals to identify opportunities and drive product decisions.
  • Prototype, validate, and refine solutions based on user feedback and data.
  • Create high-quality interaction and visual designs that balance usability, scalability, and business impact.
  • Contribute to Shopee's design system and continuously improve design quality and consistency.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, content creation, and design workflows.
  • Present design rationale clearly, facilitate discussions, and align stakeholders across functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field A master's degree is advantageous but not required.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong UX thinking and polished UI craftsmanship for digital products.
  • Good product thinking with the ability to understand business objectives and translate them into user-centric solutions.
  • Ability to break down complex problems into simple, intuitive experiences.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, data-driven, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design and productivity tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Figma AI, or similar) and a willingness to continuously explore new ways of working.
  • Proficiency in Figma and interactive prototyping
  • Experience designing e-commerce, fintech, marketplace, or consumer products is a plus.
