UI Development Lead / UI Architect (Java Full Stack)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced UI Development Lead / UI Architect with strong Java Full Stack expertise to lead frontend architecture, drive UI modernization and contribute to scalable backend solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands on experience with React, TypeScript, Micro Frontends and Java based microservices, along with proven technical leadership and architecture capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Define UI architecture, design standards and reusable component frameworks.

• Lead the development of scalable, responsive and high performance web applications using React and TypeScript.

• Design and implement Micro Frontend architectures and reusable UI components.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

• Design and integrate REST APIs and GraphQL services.

• Drive application modernization, performance optimization, accessibility and security best practices.

• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, architecture decisions and engineering standards.

• Mentor developers and collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders and cross functional teams.

• Support cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, testing and production stability.

Required Skills

Frontend Development

• React.js, TypeScript and JavaScript ES6+

• HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS and responsive web design

• Redux or equivalent state management

• Micro Frontends, Web Components and reusable UI architecture

• UI design systems, accessibility and performance optimization

Backend Development

• Java 11/17+, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud or Quarkus

• REST APIs, GraphQL and microservices

• JPA/Hibernate and Spring Security

Cloud, DevOps and Testing

• AWS or Azure

• Docker and Kubernetes

• Git, Jenkins or Azure DevOps, and CI/CD

• JUnit, Mockito, Jest, React Testing Library or Cypress

Databases

• Relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL

• NoSQL databases and caching technologies such as MongoDB or Redis

Experience and Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.

• 5+ years in a Technical Lead, UI Lead, UI Architect or Full Stack Lead role.

• Strong hands on experience in frontend architecture and Java full stack development.

• Proven experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews and making technical architecture decisions.

• Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
