Job Description

Requirements

1. Tivoli subject matter expert (SME) with a strong technical background and practical experience in Tivoli Workload Scheduler design, implementation, deployment and troubleshooting experience.

2. Should have 8 to 10 Years of production support experience as TWS Administrator.

3. Working experience in operating system such as Linux/AIX/Wintel.

Role Responsibilities

1) Good hands-on system administration experience on Tivoli Workload Scheduler version 9.x. 10.x

2) To EOS upgrade primarily for the TWS running in different platform

3) Responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting TWS infrastructure which includes handling production problems, troubleshooting, identify root cause and recovering services with permanent fix or temporary bypass.

4) Install, customize, enhance, and integrate IBM TWS infrastructure with multiple platforms to support scheduling (Cloud and OpenShift integrations).

5) Perform day to day administration and operation activities for the TWS infrastructure such handling user queries/issues, minor major TWS upgrades, patching, hardening and Vulnerability fixing etc.

6) Responsible for continuous operation of TWS infrastructure across the region and improve the service delivery by automating or fixing the issues permanently.

7) Support rotational 24x7 on-call duty mobile in case any incident/problem reported during out of office hours.

8) Automate common operation, administration, and monitoring tasks for the TWS infrastructure.

9) Understanding on various TWS scheduling options and troubleshoot if any problem. Scheduling options are HTTP, HTTPs, restful webservice, java, oracle, resource pool, dynamic pool, and remote jobs.

10) Ensure availability, performance and supportability for TWS infrastructure.

11) Develop and deliver software products and automation systems on-time with good quality.

12) Good working knowledge in one or more scripting languages such as Perl, Python or shell scripts on Linux or UNIX platforms.

13) Working experience in system administration tasks on Linux/UNIX platforms including software installation, configuration, patching etc.

14) Eager to learn, explore on new technology related to TWS system/scheduling.

15) Passionate on-coding and developing automation to support team on need basis.

16) Understanding on various development, testing and deployment tools - GIT/GITHUB, JENKINS, DOCKER, KUBERNETES PUPPET. Added advantage on new technology stack to support TWS infrastructure in OPENSIFT, DOCKER KUBERNETES.
