Job Description

Turnaround Quality Engineer is responsible for developing efficient and effective quality planning for Turnaround work requests, which include multi-disciplinary equipment - mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, analyzers and civil. The Turnaround Quality Engineer is responsible to ensure work packages comply with QA/QC requirements which includes integrating the needs and contribution of Reliability, Asset Integrity, Operations and HSSEQ teams.

Accountabilities:

  • Quality Planning and Control: Develop and implement the Turnaround Quality Plan in alignment with company standards, procedures and work instructions. Establish quality procedures in relevance to Turnaround manual and checklists for all turnaround activities in accordance with Asset Management team.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all turnaround complies with applicable codes, standards and procedures. Lead and participate in Quality audits and pre-job briefings with the contractors to reinforce quality expectations.
  • Risk Register and Lesson Learn: Support Turnaround Manager in risk management and manage the Turnaround risk register and lesson learnt register.
  • Knowledge Retention and Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in quality system and turnaround execution.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 7 years in process plant turnaround and maintenance activities, specifically in Turnaround inspection and quality management.
  • Knowledge in inspections and quality management, particularly in quick-paced, high intensity ans time constrained turnaround environments.
  • Strong knowledge in process plant inspection techniques & requirements - ASNT specifications, API/ASME requirements, WPS/PQR and welder's qualification, ASME PCC-1.
  • Knowledge of process plant production and maintenance, including contractors supervision & management.
  • Singaporean and Singapore PR willing to work for 12 months contract.
