Job Summary
Join our team to operate a 14-footer lorry and collect recyclables across various premises in Singapore East. You will follow assigned routes, maintain vehicle and truck cleanliness, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 14-footer lorry safely and efficiently to collect recyclables from designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules punctually to ensure timely collections
- Communicate clearly with supervisors to report feedback from the public and customers
- Inspect the truck before and after daily collections to maintain cleanliness and operational readiness
- Perform routine vehicle checks to identify and report maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to Quality, Environment, Safety, Health, and traffic regulations during all operations
- Work outdoors in physically demanding conditions while maintaining a strong work ethic and courteous behavior
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid Class 3 & 4 driving license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Demonstrate basic English communication skills to understand instructions and report issues
- Be willing to work 6 days per week, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Ability to start work immediately or within a short notice period
