Treasury & Trade Finance, Senior Executive/ Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, documentary collections and bank guarantees.

• Review trade and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with banking and contractual requirements.

• Prepare and submit trade finance applications, amendments and supporting documents to banks.

• Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Monitor banking facilities, credit limits, utilization, maturity dates, fees and financing costs.

• Liaise with banks and financial institutions on transactions, facilities and documentation matters.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, approval procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate smooth transaction processing.

• Support cash flow planning and monitor upcoming payments, receipts and financing requirements.

• Review transaction records and reports, and assist in improving operational processes and controls.

• Provide guidance to junior team members and perform ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Banking, Accountancy, Business or a related discipline.

• At least 5 - 6 years of relevant trade finance or treasury experience, preferably within the shipping or marinetime industry.

• Practical knowledge of letters of credit, documentary collections, bank guarantees and shipping documents.

• Experience managing banking facilities, trade documentation and time-sensitive transactions.

• Knowledge of trade finance compliance, AML and sanctions requirements.
