Job Description

An Established Regional bank with a strong presence in Singapore is currently looking for an experienced Treasury operations professional. You would be given a great opportunity to be involved in day-to-day operational, settlement and administrative matters for the company's Treasury Products. In return, you will enjoy a remuneration of up to $140,000 per annum.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Treasury Settlements team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of treasury transactions.
  • Manage end-to-end settlement processes for treasury products including Money Market (MM), FX, Shares, Bonds, Forwards, Repo, and Dual Currency Investments (DCI).
  • Ensure timely confirmation, reconciliation, and settlement of treasury trades with counterparties, custodians, and clearing agents.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Front Office, Middle Office, and other internal stakeholders to resolve trade discrepancies and settlement issues.
  • Support new product rollouts and operational readiness, including upcoming derivatives products within treasury operations.
  • Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure proper documentation for all treasury activities.
  • Drive process improvements and strengthen risk and control frameworks within treasury operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Treasury Operations within a bank, with strong exposure to settlements.
  • Good product knowledge across Money Market, FX, Bonds, Repo, Forwards, and Dual Currency Investments (DCI).
  • Experience supporting or implementing treasury derivatives products will be an advantage.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing or guiding treasury operations teams.
  • Strong understanding of settlement processes, reconciliation, and treasury operational controls.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT messages, treasury systems, and settlement platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
