Treasury Intern

About the Internship

Group Treasury is undertaking a major transformation project involving cross-border cash pooling, bank migration, establishment of a Treasury Center and implementation of related treasury and finance processes and systems.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Intern to support the Treasury team throughout the project. This internship provides hands-on exposure to corporate treasury, banking, liquidity management, finance transformation, systems implementation and project management in a multinational environment.

What You Will Do

Working closely with the Group Treasury team, Finance, IT, banks, consultants and local country teams, you will support activities including:

• Maintain project trackers, action lists, meeting notes and RAID logs (risks, actions, issues and decisions).
• Support bank onboarding and KYC, including documentation tracking and follow-up with stakeholders.
• Maintain and analyze bank account, entity, currency and cash-pooling information.
• Assist with Excel-based analysis of cash balances, liquidity, bank accounts and other treasury data.
• Support payment and collection migration from existing banks to newly appointed banks.
• Assist with validation and maintenance of bank, signatory, user-access and other treasury master data.
• Support system and user acceptance testing (UAT) by maintaining test scripts, results, issues and supporting evidence.
• Assist with country/entity readiness tracking, workshops and follow-up of outstanding actions.
• Support preparation and updating of Treasury procedures, SOPs, process documentation and training materials.
• Assist with cutover and post-go-live monitoring, including issue and action tracking.
• Prepare Excel analysis, dashboards and PowerPoint materials for project and management meetings.

What We Are Looking For

• Year 2 or Year 3 undergraduate studying Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills – comfortable with PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data analysis, reconciliation and charts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and follow up with different stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with data and learning new systems and processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
• Interest in corporate treasury, banking, finance or financial technology.
• Advantageous but not essential: exposure to Power Query, Power BI, SAP/ERP systems, accounting or corporate finance.
