- 2-4 years of finance/accounting experience, especially with GL and financial reporting experience
- Advantageous if there is prior treasury experience such as recording and consolidating treasury transactions
This position will support treasury-related accounting activities at the REIT level. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of treasury transactions, contributing to financial reporting processes, and assisting with risk monitoring and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain proper accounting records for treasury transactions, including bank loan activities such as drawdowns, repayments, and refinancing
- Account for interest-related transactions, including accruals and payments, as well as derivative instruments such as interest rate swaps, forward contracts, and foreign exchange valuations
- Compile and prepare periodic treasury reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Ensure treasury activities are recorded in accordance with internal policies and relevant regulatory standards
- Assist in monitoring cash flow positions and supporting liquidity planning
- Work closely with the Treasury and Finance teams to address operational and reporting matters
- Provide supporting documentation and respond to audit-related queries for treasury transactions
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in systems and internal processes
- Support additional assignments or projects as required
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification such as a Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent Chartered Accountant certification
- Approximately 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in treasury accounting or handling financial instruments
- Familiarity with derivatives, foreign exchange valuation, and interest rate products will be advantageous
- Strong analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail
- Able to work effectively in a dynamic environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines independently
