Job Description

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Polish-speaking Tour Guide based in Singapore, who combines licensed tour guiding credentials with a creative, experience-design mindset. A background in interactive storytelling or experience design is a strong asset. Additionally, this role is ideal for candidates with a deep knowledge and understanding of cultural aspects, architecture or sports history enabling the creation of themed tours and storytelling for subject-oriented groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct guided tours for private and small-groups in Singapore for Polish-speaking clients.
  • Storytelling and contextual interpretation of culture, architecture, history and contemporary life in Singapore
  • Ensure a premium guest experience and professional on-the-ground delivery.
  • Assist with itinerary planning and onground tour logistics.
  • Liaise with local partners, attractions, and transport providers.
  • Creating bespoke tour concepts for corporate, incentive, VIP and sports-focused groups.
  • Designing and delivering innovative, interactive sightseeing experiences (e.g. city quests, gamified tours, narrative-driven routes, themed exploration)

Requirements

Mandatory Industry Requirements (Singapore)

  • Completion of the WSQ Tourist Guide Course, which equips guides with essential customer service and local knowledge skills.
  • Successful completion of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) Tourist Guide Licensing Exam. A valid STB Tourist Guide Licence is required to legally conduct tours in Singapore.

Language Requirements

  • Native or fluent proficiency in Polish (required).
  • Good command of English.

Other Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking to groups and managing tour dynamics.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore's culture, history, and tourist attractions (or willingness to learn).
  • Able to work weekends, public holidays, and irregular schedules.
  • Experience in designing quests, field games, interactive experiences or gamified sightseeing formats

Nice to have:

  • Deep knowledge of sports history, with the ability to naturally embed sports narratives, metaphors and themes into curated guest experiences.
  • Advanced visual sensitivity and strong aesthetic awareness, combined with a high level of attention to detail in experience design and storytelling.
  • Solid understanding of regional architecture and built heritage, with the ability to contextualise urban spaces and neighbourhoods for guests.
  • Strong cultural literacy and a nuanced understanding of how tradition and modernity intersect in Asian cities.
  • Cross-cultural perspective on Asian popular culture and media, with the ability to connect places to broader cultural narratives and storytelling frameworks, enhancing immersive, story-driven tours.

Work Pass Eligibility (For Foreign Applicants)

Foreign candidates must meet the Ministry of Manpower's criteria for the appropriate work pass type (EP, S Pass, or Work Permit), depending on experience and salary level.

  • Employment Pass applicants must meet MOM's qualifying salary and pass the COMPASS assessment.
  • Other work pass types follow respective MOM requirements.
