MAIN PURPOSE
Reporting to the Accounting Manager (AP), the Finance Intern is responsible for supporting a range of accounting and related activities, including managing and tracking of incoming payments, ensuring accurate invoicing, maintaining organised records of customer accounts, managing accounts payable operations to ensure accurate recording of expenses and timely settlement to vendors, as well as other month end closing activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle accounts receivable operations including collections and credit notes
- Support credit check review
- Handle AR queries from customers & other departments
- Handle accounts payable operations including validation and posting of invoices
- Validation and posting of employees reimbursement claims
- Reconciliation of vendor & other statements & balances
- Responding to queries from vendors & other departments
- Support month-end closing activities
- Ad-hoc finance related assignments
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Undergraduate majoring in preferably Accountancy
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications and SAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; motivated with high degree of commitment to meeting deadlines, targets and objectives
